Phone numbers must be in international format. The SMS calls signed with an API key accept a number
only in the international E.164 format, with or without a leading +. A local number such as 091234567
and the 00 prefix are refused with status: "F" and a remark that starts with
Invalid phone number format. In a call with several numbers, one wrong number refuses the whole call.

September 2026#
Sending too fast answers 429. When an API key has too many send calls in progress, a new call waits a
few seconds and is then refused with HTTP 429 and a Retry-After header. Before, such a call got a general
422 error. See Limits. August 2026#
A refused token refresh answers 401. Before, it answered 400. A client can now treat 401 from any call
as "sign in again".
